About Lisa DePaulo
Lisa DePaulo is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a full scholarship to play on the women's golf team from 1983-87 and was voted Most Valuable Player in her last year. Lisa grew up in Southern California but as soon as she set foot in Austin she fell in love and has become a Texan at heart.
Lisa won the San Diego City Women's Amateur in 1984-85; she was also an outstanding junior golfer in the San Diego Junior Golf Association winning top honors in 1983-84. She continued to hone her skills and provide herself with many opportunities for competition from 1989-1998 as she played the Futures Tour (Two Wins), The Ladies Asian Golf Tour, the Gold Coast Tour, the European Ladies Tour, the Pacific Tour (Two Wins) and the Players West Golf Tours (Two Wins).
She has played in seven U.S. Women's Open Championships and won the Colorado Women's Open Championship in 2003. Lisa finally realized her dream in 2000 when she qualified for the LPGA tour, qualifying again in 2004.
Lisa is a member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division and currently teaches at the Golf Academy at Circle C in Austin, Texas. Winning the LPGA T&CP Central Section Championship in 2003 earned her an exemption in the 2004 LPGA McDonalds Championship, thereby making her ninth major championship appearance on the LPGA Tour.
Since 1998, Lisa has not only been playing and teaching professional golf, but has also won accolades as a very successful sales rep for The Club Glove to the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours. She was the Director of Tournament sales and Collegiate sales throughout her tenure. Lisa has spent her life mainly inside the ropes of golf tournaments and when she finally stepped outside the ropes in 1998 to work for The Club Glove she walked into her real calling…sales and service. Recently, Lisa has created her own company, Tournament Treasures. As founder and director she has nurtured existing business relationships as well as developed many new business partnerships, hereby establishing a worldwide vendor network.
